Universal tightness test for any faucet model
Automated system for tightness control and communication between faucet chambers
This system has been developed to automate the verification of tightness and proper communication between the internal chambers of faucet parts.
During the testing process, static and dynamic pressures are measured and displayed, and their differences are compared to determine the integrity of the part. Upon completion of the verification, the system automatically classifies the part as acceptable or inadmissible. If a leak is detected, the system identifies and pinpoints the specific area of the part where the loss occurred.
System components
- Programmable logic controller (PLC): This is the core of the system. It is responsible for managing the entire verification sequence, ordering clamping and capping movements, and determining part conformity.
- Human Machine Interface (HMI): Through a touch screen, the operator can control the process, view results in real time, and modify system parameters if necessary.
- Pneumatic circuit: Used for clamping, capping and other mechanical operations necessary to prepare the part during testing.
- Electrical circuit: Powers and coordinates the various devices in the system, including sensors, valves, and actuators.
