Toilet seat duration test bench

The system is designed to perform durability tests on toilet seats and lids in accordance with Standard NF240, which requires 30,000 opening and closing cycles (point 2.3.3). It also allows for the "Soft-close" test, in accordance with Standard XP D 12-207, with a requirement of 30,000 cycles (point A.3.3).

The test bench includes automatic closing time control for both the lid and the ring, ensuring that the parameters defined by the standard are met.

It has presence detectors for:

• Open lid
• Closed lid
• Ring closure

The lid closing drive is fully adjustable in speed and torque, allowing for the simulation of different usage scenarios.

In addition, the system integrates a closing mechanism with longitudinal adjustment, as specified in the NF240 standard, which defines the dimension “d” at 25 ± 1 cm.



Finally, a locking device is included that allows impacts to be simulated on the end of the cap by adjusting the rotation speed, reproducing real-life stress conditions during prolonged use.
