Toilet seat durability test bench

The system is designed to perform durability and performance testing of toilet seats and lids, meeting the requirements of European regulations:

• Durability test according to Standard NF240: up to 30,000 opening and closing cycles (point 2.3.3).
• "Soft-close" test according to Standard XP D 12-207: up to 30,000 operating cycles (point A.3.3).

The equipment includes:

• Closing time control for the lid and ring, with automated recording of the behavior.
• Presence sensors for:
• Open lid
• Closed lid
• Ring closure
• Automatic lid closing drive, with speed and torque adjustment to simulate different operating conditions.
• Closing mechanism with longitudinal adjustment, as indicated in NF240 (dimension d = 25 ± 1 cm).
• Locking device that simulates impacts on the end of the cap, regulating the rotation speed to reproduce conditions of intensive use.



This test bench allows for the validation of the product's performance and durability throughout its useful life, under controlled and repeatable conditions.
