Multiple Test Bench 4 Stations

Test Bench

The system consists of an automation for fatigue, stress, flow, pressure, and water hammer testing of single-lever and double-lever faucets.

The number of tests is programmable according to the number of cycles desired for each control, including the faucet cartridge, diverter cycles, and the dual-control faucet mounts.

Inverter cycles are optional except in the specific inverter test program.

The system is fully customizable in terms of the test selection, number of cycles, drive speed, etc. These parameters are modified and displayed via the touch screen. Mechanically, it has height, tilt, and feed adjustments.

The machine also has its own water supply system through a closed circuit, requiring no installation. The pressure system is adjustable between 0.5 bar and 6 bar maximum. The pressure of the test circuits is displayed on the touch screen.

Station 1: Testing stresses on single-lever faucets

The system automates testing of single-lever faucets at a fatigue control station, as well as stress monitoring for both opening/closing and cold/hot rotation. The machine programs the number of tests and stress alarms, enabling a fatigue test tailored to the user. It also features a fatigue system for inverters.

Station 2: Testing saddles and pipes

The system consists of the automation of fatigue testing for two-handle, monobloc faucets and sink spouts (shelf or wall-mounted).

Station 3: Flow test

The tester monitors the cold and hot water mains pressure to determine the cold, hot, and mixed flow rates. It features two precision flow sensors that can be viewed on the screen. The system allows the operator to modify the analog reading, parameterize, and calibrate the analog channels.

Station 4: Water hammer test

The test consists of an automatic control station to monitor water pressure surges inside the faucet, both dynamically and statically. The test monitors the cold and hot water mains pressure, the circuit inlet pressure, and the resulting pressure on the mechanism.

Types of Essay

Mechanical life test of single-lever cartridge.

Mechanical durability test for frames.

Mechanical durability test of sink pipes.

Mechanical duration test for timed faucets

Mechanical durability test for electronic faucets.

Mechanical duration test of the inverter (manual or automatic).

Static pressure test from 0-60 bar.

Dynamic pressure test 4-50 bar.

Flow rate test based on pressure 1-50 l/min.

Touch screen

SMB designed the software, highlighting its efficiency and simplicity through icons. The touchscreen is a very robust solution for the vast majority of machines. The operating systems are very intuitive and quickly assimilated by the operator.
