Laser marking system and accessories

The system developed by SMB is designed for the automation of laser marking of faucets and accessories, regardless of the surface finish, whether chrome-plated, painted, or with special coatings such as PVD. Thanks to 30W fiber laser technology, various visual finishes can be achieved, from white to black, including high-resolution profile markings.

The SMB Workstation is designed to offer maximum versatility and precision. It incorporates an interchangeable tooling system that allows for the placement of parts of different sizes and geometries, adapting to a wide variety of models. Its cabin has interior dimensions of 650 mm wide by 400 mm deep, providing a spacious and safe work area.

The system includes an integrated control PC, from which any type of mark can be designed using the supplied software. This software is compatible with multiple file formats such as DWG, DFX, BMP, JPG, PNG, TIF, PCX, TAG, GIF, and PLT. It also allows for the marking of various types of barcodes and two-dimensional codes, including CODE39, EAN, CODE128, DataMatrix, and PDF417.

SMB's design department is responsible for developing fully customized fixtures and support bases, tailored to each client's specifications and the type of part being marked. This ensures optimal clamping and high process repeatability, ensuring a precise and professional result in every application.
